 Jacek Wiktor Ajdinovic, composer and cellist was born in 1985 in Krakow, Poland. Since early childhood he has tried to play the piano and improvise. When he was 6 years old he took up cello lessons with his grandfather Stanislaw Stefanski and first piano practise with his mother. He also started to compose songs, which were later presented on TV broadcast in Polish Television. In 2004 he graduated from the M. Karlowicz State Secondary School of Music in Krakow, where he study cello with Zdzislaw Lapinski. He also worked with famous cellists Barbara Marcinkowska and Ulf Tischbirek at master courses. He has performances and concerts in Poland and also He recorded for Polish Television. In 2001-2004 He consulted his works with composer Marek Stachowski in Krakow. In 2004 his piece Dialogue pour violoncell seul (2002), published by Editions Armiane (France), was rewarded in Youth Circle of Polish Composers' Union Competition and He first performed this piece in young composers concert of the International Contemporary Music Festival Warsaw Autumn 2004. His String Quartet No. 2 Futurum was rewarded in the same competition in 2006, and performed by Camerata String Quartet. In 2001 his trio Saros I (2001) was rewarded (IIIrd prize) in Polish Composers Competition CRESCENDO in Tarnow and there was first performed. In next year, also Fantasmagoria sextet (2002) was rewarded there. He receive in 2005 the Creative Scholarships City of Krakow and in 2006 he was winer the Polish Ministry of Culture "Young Poland". His music was also performed on the International Cracow Composers' Music Days, European Arts Meetings in Torun, Probaltica Music and Art Festival of the Baltic Countries, Season's Musical Premieres 2006 Festival in Kiev, Ukraine, Dialogs International Festival in Minsk (Belarus) and also in France and Germany. His first significant compositions appeared in the Autumn of 1998. Prelude Autumn was the first piece noted down. Nowadays Ajdinovic's list of works includes pieces with chamber, orchestral and vocal-instrumental music, He also creates film music. In 2006 He was initiator and coordinator the first edition of New Music New Faces International Young Composers' Festival in Krakow, supported by City of Krakow. Since 2003 He is a member of the Youth Circle of Polish Composers' Union and in 2006-2008 He was a Chairman of the board. Since 2007 He is President of the Polish Artists Society in Krakow. He is also a member of the ISCM Polish Section.
